Sooo a listener showed up at the Verizon Wireless remote on Saturday rocking yes....a PAGER AKA BEEPER!!! Not only were we at Verizon Wireless but his own daughter had a phone! This is craaazy who still has a beeper? I will admit I have to use one for one of my jobs but what are their purpose?
Beepers came in handy in the 80’s when you wanted out of a date aka: go use the pay phone & peace. My uncle has one of these but in his case I don’t think it served his purpose any...aka it would have been the girl leaving because he is pushing 50 and single. Love you Uncle Dave!
